We don't force a fixed package. Most clients fall into one of two patterns:
Annual Retainer
A set allocation of development days across the year, typically around 30 days, but agreed to whatever level meets your needs. Predictable, budgeted, and available when you need it.
Per-Project
A defined piece of work with a fixed budget and a clear scope, agreed upfront and delivered with no ongoing commitment. Right for a single build, integration, or fix.

Who owns the code you build for us?
Full or shared IP ownership, agreed based on your unique needs, with no lock-in to Libertas Software Research for future work.
What happens if our needs stop for a few months?
Nothing. There's no ongoing cost when there's no work. Retainer clients pause; project clients simply come back when the next need arises.
How do you handle confidentiality and data security?
All engagements operate under NDA as standard.
Do you work with our existing systems, or only new builds?
Both. A significant part of our work is legacy support and modernisation, picking up systems other suppliers have walked away from.
How quickly can you start?
There's no recruitment cycle or notice period to wait through. Once scope is agreed, we can move quickly.
What size of project do you take on?
From a single focused fix to an ongoing programme of work spanning multiple systems. If you're unsure whether your need is big enough, ask us.
How does shared IP work?
With shared IP, we believe we can turn the project into a financial product by extending it to meet the needs of others. If the IP is shared, we reduce our development rate accordingly. Not all projects are suitable for shared IP, it depends on whether there's genuine potential to reuse or productise the work, so we assess this project by project.
