Libertas Software Research was a finalist in the Innovative Company of the Year category at the Business Eye Awards 2026, and congratulates CV6 Therapeutics on being named the winner.
Libertas Software Research (LSR) was proud to be a finalist in the Innovative Company of the Year category at the Business Eye Awards 2026, and we would like to begin by congratulating CV6 Therapeutics on being named the winner. A shortlist this strong makes the win a real achievement, and it is a pleasure to see the work of a Northern Ireland business recognised at this level.
Our entry was built around ORDU Studio, LSR's modular Multi-Agency Incident and Event Management System, and being shortlisted is a welcome sign that the problem it addresses is one worth solving. Major incidents involve police, ambulance, fire, health bodies, local authorities and specialist third parties, often working under pressure on systems that were never designed to connect. We believe that coordinating a response and being able to account for it afterwards are one problem rather than two, and ORDU Studio has been designed on that basis.
In practice that has meant three commitments. The record of an incident is produced as the response unfolds, so that the answer to "how was this decision made, and when" already exists in the system. Outside parties can contribute to a live incident through ORDU Connect, a controlled middle door, without being given access to the wider operational environment. And the platform is tested against independent scrutiny, through our partnership with 360 Clinical Research Consultancy, whose audit experience comes from regulated clinical research and who ask whether the record holds up when someone outside the organisation examines it critically.
Alongside ORDU Studio, our entry described PrimeCRM, LSR's AI-native CRM and content platform, and our bespoke client work, where we embed within the client's team rather than delivering at arm's length. The principle running through all of it is that software used in compliance-sensitive settings should be auditable and logic-driven rather than opaque. LSR is a little over a year old, and we are grateful to the clients and partners who trusted a young company.
For organisations with statutory duties, including those arising under the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, known as Martyn's Law, the quality of the record after an incident carries real weight. Boards and senior executives are increasingly expected to show that a response was coordinated, proportionate and defensible. That expectation is the reason we keep investing in auditability, access control and clear reporting, and it does not depend on the result of any awards night.
Our thanks go to the judges for their time and care, to the emergency management and resilience professionals who continue to shape ORDU Studio, and to the team in Portadown who build it. Congratulations as well to every business on the shortlist, including Inclutech, Henderson Technology, Interfrigo Ltd, Farmflow, ClearKey, Whitespace, Renatus Collective and Axion 4. It was a privilege to stand alongside them.
We will keep developing ORDU Studio with emergency management professionals, with our audit partners and with the organisations that have to answer for their response long after an incident has ended. If you are responsible for multi-agency coordination, business resilience or regulatory reporting and would like to see how ORDU Studio approaches the record, we would be glad to talk.
